Everyone was so kind and the pizza was great! When I walked in the manager and one of the bartenders were decorating for Christmas. They greeted me kindly, went to see if the pizza I called in was ready yet. It was not, but they did keep an eye on it and got it when it was ready. We got the Buffalo chicken pizza.

We recently visited Dewey's Pizza and were pleased to find their newly reopened dining room looking fresh and inviting. Free parking was conveniently available in a lot just east of the restaurant, making our arrival smooth despite the rainy weather. Unfortunately, we had to keep our wet jackets at the table, as there wasn't a designated place to hang them. The service at Dewey's was excellent. Every staff member seemed to pitch in, ensuring our table was well taken care of, and everyone was friendly and prompt throughout the meal. The dining room has been updated, though I struggled to recall the exact differences since my previous visits. It felt more open and welcoming, with clean floors, furniture, and overall decor that made the space feel inviting. As for the food, everything was delicious: * Peppercorn Ranch Salad (4.25/5): A perfectly executed salad. Highly recommend asking for extra ranch dressing--it really elevates the flavor. We ordered a large, and it was more than enough to share among the three of us. * Bronx Bomber Pizza (4.5/5): My personal favorite! The toppings were fresh and generous, creating the perfect bite every time. We ordered this on half of the pizza, and it was a hit. * Southwest BBQ Chicken Pizza (4/5): This was a nice surprise, even better than other versions I've tried. The BBQ sauce wasn't overly sweet, and the flavor was spot on. Ordered on the other half of our pizza, it balanced well with the Bronx Bomber. Overall, Dewey's Pizza provided a warm and enjoyable dining experience with standout service and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

Haven't been here in over a decade because I avoid gluten, but was in the mood for some pizza and noticed they offer gluten free dough. Yay! Had the pig and prosciutto specialty pizza. The jam had a nice unexpected kick to it! Didn't need the red pepper flakes and will know for next time! The strawberry macadamia salad was a really nice pairing with their citrus vinaigrette. Again... hadn't been here in years and was pleased to see it renovated inside offering a nice sit down bar and tvs to catch some sports. Also the pizza was ready on time from my online order so a good experience overall!

Amazing PIZZA! My friends and I keep coming back! The pizza here is so good! The Edgar Allen Poe pizza is to die for! The salads here are pretty good as well! The wine here was also pretty good. The service was perfect! They were quick and polite! They always came by to check up and to do refills. The vibes here are nice for family friendly, date night or even friends out for dinner.

Dewey's was really busy, but we were offered places at the bar. The service was gracious, accommodating and attentive. Not that I mind, but was nice to not have a TV right in front of us. Enjoyed looking at the capable pizza makers! Our food was yum! I never pass up on a salad at Dewey's.. exceptional! For as busy as they were, had a fine casual dinner.

Takeout from Dewey's is a crowd favorite when we're ordering out for pizza, but I finally dined in after we finished painting at the Pottery Hollow down the street. Street parking can be tough on weekends in downtown Kirkwood but there are some free lots down Jefferson Ave. We ordered salads and pizza to share among the 5 of us. The candied walnut salad was phenomenal and I was so full after splitting half of it that I barely had room for my pizza. I appreciated that they let you split half of the pizza into different flavors. I loved the mushrooms in my Bronx bomber half and my friend enjoyed the meatball half!

They "dew" everything right. Sorry, I couldn't resist the play on words. There is plenty of street parking and public lots close. Welcoming environment and you can watch the kitchen creating magic while you wait. It's a hopping spot so you have to get there early if you don't want to wait for a table. Service was really good and the food was outstanding! I ordered the house salad and this simple mix was so good! The flavors blended well. I chose the bbq chicken pizza and this is the only place I like it. The toppings all work together for a wonderful taste. This is definitely a neighborhood favorite. Check this place out.

Saturday is Pizza night and we decided on Dewey's for carry out. They were running a little behind so we decided to have a drink at the bar. Nice selection of local beers on tap and a decent wine list. You can see the open kitchen from the bar and restaurant. I was a bit surprised that the pizza oven is a conveyor type. We enjoyed our drinks and the conversation with bar staff and other customers. When our pizzas were ready they were kept in the kitchen until we finished our drinks. A nice touch. The Caprese and the Dr Dre pizzas were both good. I would prefer them cooked a little longer. The Caesar Salad was fresh with crisp croutons , shaved Parmesan and tasty dressing.
